Priority Mail, in the tube rolled and undamaged, costs $14.95 and each additional sheet is .50 cents This listing is for a single 20" by 30" sheet of handmade & hand printed lokta paper from Nepal "fair trade" means the craftsperson received a reasonable price for the product & guarantees no child labor was used - the price of my paper is a bit higher, because it costs more to buy Fair Trade items because it is handmade, lokta paper naturally has a beautiful deckle edge if you have never used lokta paper, it is almost like cloth & can actually be ironed using low heat (on the non-printed side) Nepalese handmade lokta paper is made from the fibrous inner bark of high elevation evergreen shrubs primarily from two species of Daphne plant & these plants are completely renewable Lokta bushes proliferate in open clusters or colonies on the southern slopes of Nepal's Himalayan forests between 1,600 and 4,000 m (5,250–13,000 ft) Handmade lokta-based craft paper products continue to offer considerable economic sustainability for poor rural Nepalese women due to their high-quality niche market potential Lokta paper's durability and resistance to tearing, humidity, insects and mildew have traditionally made lokta paper the preferred choice for the recording of official government records and sacred religious texts.  When Tibet was still a free country, they used lokta paper as currency.
